Hello Andrea, hello Luca, you released your book Goodbye Yellow Brick Road – The Making Of An Epic Album at the end of August. Thank you for agreeing to this short interview.

Ralf: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road – The Making Of An Epic Album is your first book. How did the idea come about and how did you implement it?

Andrea: first of all, I  knew Luca in 2012, since when he released his first book "Paul McCartney: Recording Sessions". Being also a Beatles/McCartney fan, I immediately bought it and from then on I stayed in touch with him and got his other McCartney books. Then in mid-2024 he announced on his Facebook that he was launching with his own publishing company the Milestones series with albums by other artists, so I just contacted him to see if by chance he was interested in collaborating for a book about an Elton album, and he agreed. We both immediately thought that the album to work upon should have been GYBR...

Luca: I’m an author and music journalist, as well as running a publishing company. For the Milestones series, I thought GYBR was an absolute must. We started working on it in spring/summer 2024, and it took us about a year to complete it.

Ralf: This year marks the 50th anniversary of the release of Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy, which is also an epic album. Why the album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road?

Luca: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is undoubtedly the album that everyone associates with Elton, myself included. The double album has always been a challenging format, and I consider this one to be a showcase of genres and styles that perfectly represents his skills as a composer, musician, vocalist and bandleader. This doesn’t rule out other albums to be treated in the future!

Ralf: I've only flicked through the book so far because I haven't had time to read it yet. Can you briefly describe what the reader can expect?

Luca: It’s a complete account of how the album came about, with a song-by-song description and anecdotes from the studio. It also explores how the album's legacy has evolved over the decades. We conducted extensive research to compile the material, sourcing rare quotes and incorporating new insights from a couple of interviews Andrea conducted. We also were able to include in the volume the exact recording dates of each song, and some information taken from the studio track sheets, so gold for Elton fans! The book is firmly grounded in music, with no room for personal opinions or gossip, only facts. The book takes a historical approach.

Ralf: The album is now more than 50 years old. I can imagine that it's difficult to research. How did you obtain information about it? Do you have any contact with any band members or other people involved in the creation of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"?

Andrea: Luckily, since I started to became interested in Elton, I also collected articles (both from paper magazines and online) about him, so through the years I was able to collect a very huge archive of articles and interviews, to Elton and also to band members and the rest of the staff; same with video-interviews found on DVDs and YouTube. So yes, it was a long work of research, but I had already the material, it was only a matter of finding all the pieces. A few things I missed were also supplied by other fans, and Luca also has access to a digital archive of newspapers and magazines.

I tried also to contact the band members (the ones that are still alive of course!) to obtain some exclusive interviews, but unfortunately all of them gave me the same answer, that they stopped giving  interviews (probably due to their age). But, as you know, Ian Beck was available and he very nicely told me his story about how he went to design the cover.

Ralf: Will the book also be published in German?

Luca: we don’t have plans for translations in other languages at the moment.

Ralf: Are there any more books planned?

Andrea: me and Luca have already in the plans another Milestones to write together, but it will be about an album of another artist. But if you want to know about another Elton John book, it’s too early to say. If this one will have a fair amount of success, we can certainly consider another one about the second most-famous Elton John album. I have a clue about which album this would be, but your readers can contact us to make suggestions!

Ralf: How long have you been Elton fans, and what prompted you to become one?

Luca: I remember that for some reason the first album I owned was Live in Australia that I bought in 1989, after having heard it by some friends. I already knew Elton’s music since the early Eighties, and I thought it was time to start collecting his records!

Andrea: I have first “met” Elton during an Italian TV show in 1988, Telemike, with Mike Bongiorno; I used to watch it every Thursday with my parents and until that day I had no idea of who Elton John was (I was 11 and I wasn’t interested in music by then). He played A Word in Spanish and I Don’t Wanna Go On and did a short interview with Mike, so in that occasion I just knew who he was (but still not interested in his music or in music in general). In the same period I’ve also heard incidentally Town of plenty, who was very popular in Italy since the videoclip was used as the end credits for a kids TV show called BIG. And the funny thing is that I didn’t use to watch that show, maybe it just happened a few times to catch the end credits while zapping through the TV channels.

Anyway I started listening to Elton in 1992 because when The One was released, a couple of school classmates started talking about this album and exchanging it, so I became curious and I asked for it too (borrowed, of course); and when they lent me The One they also lent me The Very Best, which I liked much more than The One album, so I was actually hooked by The Very Best, but thanks to The One!

And then I immediately fell in love with The Very Best, with all of it, so I started searching for the whole albums. And believe me, in 1992 it was very hard to find old Elton records in the shops, but in a couple of years I was able to have almost all the standard albums (the collection was completed in 1995 when The Classic Years remasters were released).

Ralf: Have you seen him live on stage, and if so, how often?

Andrea: Elton did many shows in Italy, but usually in the North area (Milan) or at least no further south than Rome; I always lived in Sicily, so going to Milan or Rome to see him was an expensive travel. The first attempt was for the 1994 Rome shows he did with Ray, but at the time I was underage and couldn’t travel alone so in the end I didn’t attend because I could not find anyone else interested to come along with me. So the first time was in Pesaro in 1998 and from then to 2019 (my last one) I saw 17 shows, all in Italy. For sure I would have liked to see him more times, but unfortunately the geographic distance was always a huge issue.

Luca: yes, I saw Elton in concert several times in my area (Milan), and every time it was exciting and Elton is a consummate professional when it comes to playing live.

Raöf: And now, in a few short sentences: Why is your book a must-buy?

Andrea: I know that Elton fans (as with every other artist’s fans) are knowledgeable to various degrees; I think this book will please to all of them: the “new” fan, or the fan who never went to much in deep about the history of the sessions of this album, will discover many facts and anecdotes about its making , and likely they will see the album in a new light; but I’m sure that even the old, most-experienced fans that think they already know everything about this album, will find something new or at least that they could not remember; and anyway, even if they already know every fact, it’s easier to have them all in one place rather than spread in a huge archive like mine, isn’t it?

Luca: it fills an incredible gap in Elton John’s bibliography. Over the years, I’m sure many fans and music lovers have asked themselves, “Why is there no book on GYBR?” Well, here it finally is!

In eigener Sache - Morgen gibt es ein neues Interview

Hallo liebe Elton Fans,

heute morgen melde ich mich mal wieder mit dem Thema In eigener Sache. Die Website läuft nach dem Computertausch wieder stabil. Bizarre Darstellungen sind wohl nicht mehr zu erwarten. Ich habe heute morgen die Texte der beiden Demos von Elton John, die auf dem Prada Soundtrack zu finden sind, online gestellt. Die anderen Texte werden in Kürze folgen.

Ebenso habe ich den Soundtrack der Diskografie zugefügt und bin nun an einem Punkt gekommen, an dem ich die Diskografie ein wenig umbauen muss. Ich werde die Alben in vier Kategorien umstrukturieren: Studioalben, Live Alben, Greatest Hits und Soundtracks/Musicals.

Ende August habe ich das neue Buch Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road The Making Of An Epic Album von Andrea Grasso und Luca Perasi vorgestellt. Ich hab Kontakt zu den Beiden aufgenommen und ein kleines Interview gemacht. Das werde ich morgen an dieser Stelle und in meinem Facebookauftritt veröffentlichen. Am Freitag erschienen: Der Soundtrack vom Musical The Devil Wears Prada mit dem Original West End Cast und zwei Songs von Elton

Der Teufel trägt Prada: Ein neues Musical-Album

Die Originalaufnahme der Besetzung von „Der Teufel trägt Prada: Ein neues Musical“ ist am Freitag, 19. September 2025, auf CD, Digital und LP erschienen.

Komponiert von Musical-Ikone Elton John, mit Texten von Shaina Taub und Mark Sonnenblick, erinnern diese Songs daran, dass Träume – wie Mode – nie aus der Mode kommen. Die CD- und Digitalversion enthält alle 18 Songs des Musicals, aufgenommen von der gefeierten Originalbesetzung des West Ends, darunter Vanessa Williams (Miranda), Matt Henry, MBE (Nigel), Georgie Buckland (Andy), Amy Di Bartolomeo (Emily), Rhys Whitfield (Nate) und James Darch (Christian), sowie die bereits erwähnten Elton John Original Demos. Die LP enthält eine Auswahl von 12 Titeln. „Der Teufel trägt Prada: Ein neues Musical“ wird im West End von Kevin McCollum, David Furnish und Jamie Wilson produziert. Die Besetzungsaufnahme wurde von Giles Martin produziert und gemischt, die Elton John Original Demos von Matt Still und Kim Bullard.

The album includes new single ‘Dress Your Way Up’, performed by Matt Henry, MBE and Georgie Buckland who play Nigel and Andy in the hit musical. It follows the previously released ‘Miranda Girl’, performed by Georgie Buckland, and ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ performed by Vanessa Williams and Matt Henry, MBE.

Elton John:

Das Thema von „Der Teufel trägt Prada“ schreit geradezu nach Musik. Es ist einer meiner Lieblingsfilme der letzten 20 Jahre, daher war es für mich selbstverständlich, die Musik für die Bühnenfassung zu schreiben. Ich schaue immer nach vorn, nie zurück, daher musste es unbedingt eine moderne, zeitgenössische Musik sein. Die besten Musicals hinterlassen bei den Menschen ein freudiges Gefühl, und genau so habe ich mich beim Schreiben gefühlt. Es war wunderbar, die Resonanz und den Erfolg der Bühnenshow zu sehen und die fantastischen Reaktionen auf die Lieder zu hören.

Auf der Vinylausgabe sind lediglich 12 Songs, da ist die CD Version schon deutlich üppiger ausgestattet. Dort finden wir insgesamt 20 Songs und die letzten beiden sind Bonustracks Demos von Elton gesungen. Diese sind einfach traumhaft.

Wegen verlorener Wette - Elton John gibt Lola Young die Schlüssel zu seinem Haus - ein Bericht von spiegel.de

»Ich und meine große Klappe«: Eigentlich wollte Elton John Sängerin Lola Young nur unterstützen, als er sein Haus als Wetteinsatz in den Ring warf. Nun muss er mit den Konsequenzen leben.

Diesen Wetteinsatz hätte sich Musiklegende Elton John, 78, wohl besser zweimal überlegen sollen: Weil er so überzeugt von dem Lied »d£aler« von Sängerin Lola Young, 24, war, setzte er sein Haus darauf, dass der Song die Chartspitze erreichen würde. Das tat das Lied bisher nicht. Elton John aber stand zu seinem Wort und überreichte Young die Schlüssel zu seinem Haus.

Auf Instagram posteten die beiden am Sonntag einen Clip der Schlüsselübergabe . Darin wiederholte John seine Wette und dass der Song bisher nicht auf Platz eins gelandet sei. Seit der Song im Juli veröffentlicht wurde, erreichte er Platz 27 der UK-Charts .

»Es sollte besser schnell gehen, aber in der Zwischenzeit gebe ich dir die Schlüssel zum Haus«, sagte der Sänger, während er einen Arm um Young hatte. Die 24-Jährige erwiderte trocken: »Ich habe darauf gewartet.«

Nachdem die Schlüssel übergeben wurden, fragte Elton John: »Aber können wir ab und zu über Nacht bleiben?«, worauf Young antwortete: »Nein, tut mir leid, es gehört jetzt mir.« Und Elton John zeigte sich reumütig: »Ich und meine große Klappe.«

Der Clip endet mit einem Foto der beiden und den Worten: »Ich bin mir sicher, dass Elton den ganzen Tag damit verbringt, sich zu wünschen, dass sein Haus noch ihm gehört«, zuletzt fügte Young noch ein ironisches »Sorry, Kumpel« hinzu. Unter dem Video schrieb Young: »Ich bin mir sicher, dass dies das letzte Mal ist, dass er eine Wette abschließt … Danke @eltonjohn, ich liebe dich x«.

Die ganze Geschichte begann im Juli , als Elton John Lola Youngs Song »d£aler« bei seiner Apple-Music-Radioshow »Rocket Hour« als »den größten Hit, den ich seit Jahren gehört habe« bezeichnete. Er führte seine Songempfehlung aus und erklärte: »Ich würde mein Haus darauf verwetten, dass das eine Nummer-eins-Single wird.« Auch in den sozialen Medien zeigte er immer wieder Unterstützung für Youngs Musikkarriere. Der öffentlich-wirksame Hausübergabe-Stunt wird bei ihrer aktuellen Album-Promo sicher nicht schaden.

Lola Young hat am Freitag ihr Album »I’m Only F**cking Myself« herausgebracht. Die Sängerin wurde 2017 von Nick Shymansky entdeckt, der zuvor auch die 2011 gestorbene Amy Winehouse gemanagt hatte. Ihren großen Durchbruch hatte Young 2024 mit ihrem Hit »Messy«. Sie wurde seitdem mehrmals bei den Brit Awards nominiert, trat unter anderem bei den Festivals Coachella und Glastonbury auf.

Auf einem Hoteldach - Elton John hatte Sex mit russischem Spion

Elton John wurde während eines Aufenthalts in der ehemaligen Sowjetunion überwacht. Dennoch kam es zu einem intimen Moment in überraschender Konstellation.

Musiker Elton John startete seine Musikkarriere in den frühen Sechzigerjahren als Barpianist, feierte seinen internationalen Durchbruch in den Siebzigern mit der Single "Your Song". Wenige Jahre später gastierte er als einer der wenigen westlichen Künstler in der Sowjetunion. Der Sänger absolvierte acht Konzerte in Leningrad und Moskau – das jedoch unter strenger Überwachung. Daran sowie an eine besondere Anekdote des Musikers erinnert jetzt der britische "Mirror".

In einem Gespräch mit der Zeitung sprach Historikerin Sarah Davies von der Durham University am Freitag über frühere Ängste im Kalten Krieg – und wie diese sich unter anderem auf die Entertainmentbranche auswirkten. So sei die Spionage westlicher Künstler vonseiten der Sowjetunion nichts Überraschendes gewesen. "Andererseits wurden auch die sowjetischen Entertainer, die nach Großbritannien kamen, im Auge behalten", so die Expertin.

In dem Zusammenhang berichtet der "Mirror" auch von einem früheren Interview von Elton John mit der britischen Zeitung "The Guardian". Darin hatte der Musiker von ähnlichen Erlebnissen während seiner Tour durch die ehemalige Sowjetunion berichtet. "Ich war 1979 in Russland und wusste, dass wir ständig beobachtet wurden", erzählte er.

"Am Ende hatte ich Sex mit ihm"

Auch ein Mann, der ihm offiziell während seines Aufenthalts helfend zur Seite stehen sollte, habe offenbar zur sowjetischen Kontrolle gehört: "Ich hatte einen Dolmetscher, den sie eindeutig eingeschleust hatten."

Demnach erkannte John, dass der Mann in Wahrheit für den sowjetischen Geheimdienst KGB arbeitete. Dennoch wahrte der Musiker keine Distanz zu dem Dolmetscher, sondern näherte sich ihm im Gegenteil sogar körperlich an: "Am Ende hatte ich Sex mit ihm auf dem Dach des Hotels", erinnerte er sich in seinem Interview. Konsequenzen hatte diese Begegnung für den Künstler offenbar nicht – er setzte seine Konzertreise unbeirrt fort.

Happy Birthday Ray Cooper! Der langjährige Percussionist der Elton John Band feiert heute seinen 78. Geburtstag (Laut Wikipedia). Wir wünschen Dir alles Gute lieber Ray. Ich hatte im Mai 2023 das Glück, ihn in Köln gleich zweimal zu treffen. Es war eine große Freude, ihn bei der Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour auf der Bühne zu sehen.

Wer weiß, vielleicht gibt es ja bald ein Wiedersehen. Wir würden uns riesig freuen!

Spinal Tap 2 The End Continues mit zwei neuen Songs von Elton John

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich Euch, eingebettet in einen Artikel von Bild.de, die Bilder von Elton im  Krankenhaus mit Glitzergips und Halskrause gezeigt. Zum Glück liegt Elton nicht wirklich im Krankenhaus, er hat eine kleine Rolle in dem neuen Film Spinal Tap 2, der am Freitag in den USA in den Kinos gestartet ist. Einen Termin für Deutschland steht noch nicht fest. Ebenfalls am Freitag ist der Soundtrack erschienen, der zwei neue Songs von Elton enthällt. Ich habe das Album vorbestellt und heute ist es gekommen. Doch leider musste ich es zurückschicken, weil die Jewellbox beschädigt war. Dann muss ich bis morgen auf den Ersatz warten.

Der Soundtrack ist als CD (Preis 18,99 Euro) und Vinyl (Preis 31,99 Euro) erschienen.

Nach dem Kult-Klassiker »Spinal Tap I« aus 1984, folgt nun der Zweite Teil und setzt das Mockumentary Format fort. So lädt der Film als auch das Album eine neue Generation in die Welt der Rock-Band ein.

Mit Special Guests wie Elton John, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks und Trisha Yearwood verschwimmen die Grenzen zwischen Komödie und echten Hits und führt den Kultstatus der Franchise fort.

Neu im FC Watford Fanshop: Special Elton John Kit 25/26

Im Fanshop des FC Watford gibt es seit ein paar Tagen eine ganz besondere Trikot Collection. 2025 jährt sich der Beginn der Tätigkeit von Elton im FC Watford zum 5. Mal. In den Jahren 1976 bis 1990 und von 1977 bis 2002 war Elton Vorsitzender des Clubs, aktuell ist er Ehrenpräsident. Unter seiner Führung ist der Club von der vierten bis in die erste ewnglische Liga aufgestiegen. Aus diesem Grund ist eine vom Verein inspirierte Trikotkollektion erschienen, die im Fanshop bestellt werden kann. Die Trikots gibt es in zwei verschiedenen Versionen, einmal mit und einmal ohne Werbung. Der Preis liegt bei 76 Pfund.

Pop-Ikone schockt Fans mit Krankenhaus-Fotos: Elton John zeigt seine Glitzer-Gipsbeine! - ein Bericht von bild.de

Da hat er seinen Fans aber einen gehörigen Schreck eingejagt! Am Freitag postete Pop-Ikone Elton John Fotos aus dem Krankenhaus auf Instagram. Darauf ist der Sänger mit Halskrause und dickem Gips an beiden Beinen im Bett zu sehen. Neben ihm stehen sBlumen und Geneungskarten. Natürlich darf auch die extravagante Sonnenbrille – das Markenzeichen des Briten – nicht fehlen.

Dazu schreibt Elton John: „Zu hart gerockt … und jetzt im Gips!“ Auweia. Handelt es sich etwa um die bösen Folgen eines Bühnenunfalls? Nicht ganz. Denn wer genau hinschaut, dem fällt auf, dass sowohl Halskrause als auch Gipsbeine des britischen Paradiesvogels auffällig bunt funkeln. Überhaupt wirkt an diesem Bild alles ein wenig zu schillernd.

Des Rätsels Lösung: Bei dem Schnappschuss handelt es sich um eine Backstage-Aufnahme aus dem Film „Spinal Tap II“, der seit Freitag im Kino läuft und eine Fortsetzung des Kultfilms „This Is Spinal Tap“ aus dem Jahr 1984 ist. In der Doku-Parodie über das Tourleben von Metalbands spielte Elton John vor rund 40 Jahren übrigens nicht mit.

„Spinal Tap II“ begleitet die fiktive Band bei ihrer Wiedervereinigung nach 15 Jahren Pause für ein letztes Konzert. Elton John steuerte zwei neue Songs für den Soundtrack bei – eine große Ehre für den Musiker. Auf Instagram schreibt er stolz: „Ich bin auf ‚Listen To The Flower People‘ und ‚Stonehenge‘ zu hören. Danke, dass ich dabei sein durfte!“

Und Elton Johns Fans? Einige gehen dem Sänger tatsächlich auf den Leim. „Gute Genesung“, wünscht ein Follower. Ein anderer kommentiert besorgt: „Ich sende dir Liebe. Deine Musik hat mir durch viele dunkle Zeiten geholfen.“

Viele jedoch durchschauen den Streich, können sich eine kleine Rüge hier und da aber nicht verkneifen: „Elton, du hast uns einen Schrecken eingejagt! Bitte mach darüber keine Witze!“

Der Blick in die Albumcharts: Diamonds fällt auf Platz 20

Freitags erscheinen die britischen Albumcharts und wir blicken am Wochenende mit Spannung auf die Platzierung von Diamonds. Leider ist  das Album in dieser Woche um zwei Plätze gefallen, befindet sich mit Platz 20 jedoch immer noch unter den Top 20 Alben in Elton´s Heimatland. Ganz gespannt blicken in Richtung Oktober. Am 24. Oktober erscheint die 50 Years Edition von Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy und ich bin mir sehr sicher, dass die Platte eine sehr gute Platzierung in den Charts erreichen wird.

Am 24. Oktober erscheint nicht nur die 50 Jahre Ausgabe von Captain Fantasdtic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy sondern auch Brandis neues Album Returning To Myself!

Brandi Carlile ist zurück mit ihrem achten Studioalbum und ihrem ersten Solo-Projekt seit vier Jahren. Die amerikanische Singer-Songwriterin gilt als eine der authentischsten Stimmen der modernen Folk, Rock und Americana-Musik und inspirierte eine ganze Generation an Künstler*innen.

In den letzten Jahren fokussierte sie sich auf verschiedenste Kollaborationen mit u.a. Joni Mitchell, Hozier, Sam Smith und Alicia Keys. Ihr letztes Album „Who Believes in Angels?“ war ein Kollaborationsprojekt mit Elton John, das in Deutschland auf Platz #2 der Charts debütierte, in Großbritannien auf Platz#1 und in US die Top 10 erreichte.

Am Samstag Morgen: Der Blick in die Albumcharts - Diamonds unter den Top 20 Alben

Gestern sind die aktuellen britischen Albumcharts erschienen. Diamonds ist nun seit 408 Wochen dort vertreten und hält mit Platz 18 immer noch einen Platz unter den britischen Top 20 Alben. Ich bin mal gespannt, ob die %0 Jahre Ausgabe von Captain Fantastic es auch in die Charts schafft.

Elton John has announced a 50th anniversary edition of his legendary album Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy.

The reissue package for the 1975 album will include, among other rarities, a 10-track performance from Wembley Stadium in the year of the album’s release.

“Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy was the first album I’d ever made that was autobiographical, and it was the first time we’d gone into the studio with all the songs already written,” John said of the album.

“We rehearsed it as a band, then went in and cut it more or less live. The band were at their absolute peak and you can hear it on the record. I think it’s the best thing we ever did. The songs were strong.”

He added: “Bernie’s lyrics were brilliant, and the atmosphere at Caribou was perfect. Seeing it go to Number One faster than anything I’d ever released felt like vindication, like the culmination of everything Bernie and I had fought for back in those bedsits in London.”

Also included in the reissue, out on October 24, is 2LP and 2CD versions of the album, as well as a 1LP of the Live At Midsummer Music show. A booklet is also included with unseen entries from the singer’s personal diaries. It can all be pre-ordered here >>.

Obviously it was emotionally rewarding as it chronicled a very special time in our lives. Gestern wurde offiziell bekannt gegeben, dass am 24. Oktober 2025 die 50 Jahre Edition des Nummer 1 Albums Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy in verschiedenen Ausführungen erscheinen wird. Gegen Abend kam dann auch die Message von Elton über seine Kanäle in den sozialen Netzwerken. Diese haben wir hier für Euch.

Zeitreise Teil 1: 5. September 1986 - Elton John Live in Worcester

Nach längerer Zeit gehen wir heute mal auf Zeitreise. Und natürlich war Elton auch an einem 5. September auf Konzertreise. Das erste Konzert , dass ich Euch heute vorstellen möchte, fand am 5. September 1986 in Worcester/Massachusetts statt. Veranstaltungsort war The Centrum. Das Album Leather Jackets stand kurz vor der Veröffentlichung und Elton spielte mit Paris einen Song daraus. Elton spielte drei Konzerte in Worcester, dies war das zweite aus der Reihe.

Zeitreise Teil 2: 5. September 2007 - Elton John Live The Red Piano in London O" Arena

21 Jahre später, am 5. September 2007, spielte das Rote Klavier zum ersten Mal außerhalb von Las Vegas in der O2 Arena in London. Es war die einzige Red Piano Show außerhalb von Las Vegas im Jahr 2007, Elton tourte erstmals 2008 mit dem Red Piano durch Europa.

Ein neues Buch über Elton John - Elton John: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. The Making of an Epic Album

Dieses Buch ist quasi noch druckfrisch und ist am 29. August 2025 in englischer Sprache erschienen. Ich habe es noch nicht gelesen aber heute vorbestellt. Ich bin mal gespannt auf dieses Buch, dass über die Entstehng des Albums Goodbye Yellow Brick Road handelt.
